Financial Aid Guide for Youth with Juvenile Justice Involvement

In our conversations with students, we found that they were often unaware of available financial aid resources, and some had been given misinformation about their ability to apply for financial aid.

Staff reported confusion over terms on financial aid applications like “ward of the court,” or were unsure about how to help youth navigate the financial aid system.
